Heller Designs and Space Planning is a full-service design firm in Charlotte, NC. I grew up in Fairmont, West Virginia, and moved to Charlotte in 1997.
I have been privy to the construction field my entire life as my father, who I admire, was a general contractor. My passion for design and construction was ingrained at an early age and I wanted to continue to learn. I attended Central Piedmont College and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Interior Design and a focus on Architecture and Construction. I have been working in the industry for over 25 years and successfully owned my business for 20 years, WOW!
I work with clients from the conceptual phase through installation. I partner with contractors, engineers, and trade vendors, depending on the scope of the job. My work is with residential and commercial spaces. My knowledge of building and design leads to my ability to make a space work functionally and aesthetically. I produce floor plans and elevations for clients to choose from and draw detailed plans for the contractor. My jobs range from renovations, room additions, and I LOVE a kitchen or bath remodel I can sink my teeth into!!! Clients are presented with architectural floor plan option. Once a floor plan has been selected and approved, I complete the elevations, and specifications for construction.
